Lutrinae

What complete Otter nonsense!?

Biodome Otter

A Picture I took of one of the two very playful Otters I saw during my visit to the Biodome on March 1

  • Otters are carnivorous mammals in the subfamily Lutrinae.
  • The 13 extant otter species are all semiaquatic, aquatic, or marine, with diets based on fish and invertebrates.
  • Lutrinae is a branch of the Mustelidae family, which also includes weasels, badgers, mink, and wolverines, among other animals.

Waterfalls

A waterfall is any point in a river or stream where water flows over a vertical drop or a series of steep drops.

Waterfalls also occur where meltwater drops over the edge of a tabular iceberg or ice shelf.

These pictures were all taken by me during my visit to Iceland back in 2018
